1996 - Returns from an injury-plagued 1995 riding for Team Suzuki
but surprises fans by finishing as the third-ranked AMA Supercross rider.
Best Supercross finishes were a pair of second place finishes
(Indianapolis and Denver) and a third at Pontiac. Highest 125cc Motocross
finishes were a second at Southwick and a third at Buchanon
Moves
to 250cc Supercross and Motocross. Moves to Team Yamaha 1997
- Wins the Atlanta and Orlando 250cc Supercross rounds and has
four podium finishes. Takes the overall 250cc National Motocross win at
Budds Creek and takes third overall at the San Bernardino round. Rides for
Team Yamaha.
Moves
to Team Honda 1998 - Wins four rounds of the
250cc Supercross series and earns eight additional podium finishes, ending
the season as the runner-up for the championship. He wins the Mt. Morris
round of the 250cc AMA Motocross Nationals, and has three additional
overall podium finishes riding for the Factory Honda team. 
1999 - Has an outstanding AMA 250cc Supercross season, taking
five wins and four additional podium finishes. He wins the Southwick round
of the AMA 250cc Motocross Nationals and takes two additional overall
podium finishes riding for the factory Honda Team.
2000 - Suffers an injury-plagued year riding for the factory
Honda Team. He misses the Supercross series after breaking his collarbone
at the season opener.
2001 - Finishes fifth in points in the AMA SX season.
Moves to Team Kawasaki 2002 - Finishes fourth
in points in the AMA SX season. Rides for Team Kawaski. Finishes 3rd
in the AMA MX season.
2003 – Finishes ninth in
points in the AMA SX season. Wins
the Phoenix round. Rides for Team Kawasaki. Finishes 7th overall in points
in the AMA MX season.
Moves to Team Mach 1 Yamaha 2004 – Is hurt and out most of
the SX and MX rounds. Races 8 rounds of the AMA SX season and finishes
15th overall. His highest finish was 4th (round 2) Races 6 rounds of
the AMA MX season and finishes 25th overall in points
